Yellow Fever vaccination is compulsory, at least 10 days before arrival. Tetanus, Polio and Malaria prophylaxis are also recommended — confirm with your doctor.
A 10–30% deposit secures your slot. Pay the balance by cash (USD), card (+5% fee), or bank transfer at least 4 weeks ahead.
Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) is around 60km from Arusha. Arusha Airport (ARK) handles domestic flights only.
Waterproof, windproof layers, a headlamp, and gear you can also hire locally when you arrive.
Guides: $10–15 per person, per day. Accommodation: around $10/day for a group of two, left at reception.
Per climber: 1 guide, 1 cook, 1 waiter, 1 toilet porter, and 4 supporting porters.
